Blackburn to beat Bristol City

Bristol City were beaten 3-2 away to Coventry last weekend, despite twice going ahead with their opposition down to 10 men for the entire second half.

Nigel Pearson’s side have lost five of their last six matches, while their only home victory all season came against second-bottom Barnsley last month.

Blackburn responded well to their 7-0 thumping at home to Fulham by beating Sheffield United 3-1 last weekend. They have now won three of their last four matches.

Gillingham to beat Crewe

Crewe are bottom of League One with just nine points after 17 matches.

David Artell’s side have managed just one league victory all season and have lost five of their last six games.

Gillingham come into this on the back of a 1-1 draw away to Sheffield Wednesday, which made it four league games without defeat.

MK Dons to beat Burton

MK Dons hammered Cambridge 4-1 at home last weekend to make it three victories in their last four league games.

That result took Liam Manning’s side up to fifth in the League One table and another three points should be on the way here.

Burton have lost three straight league games and managed just three victories in 14.

Exeter to beat Carlisle

Exeter’s 2-1 victory over second-bottom Oldham last weekend set a new club record of 14 league games without defeat.

The Grecians moved up to third in the League Two table with that result and have won four on the spin.

Carlisle are without a win in 10 and are one point above the relegation zone.

Mansfield to beat Scunthorpe

Mansfield made it four wins on the bounce in all competitions last weekend as they continued their climb up the table by beating struggling Stevenage 2-1.

The Stags have won back-to-back games at Field Mill by an aggregate score of 8-3 and should dispatch bottom-of-the-league Scunthorpe.

The Iron have won one in 14 in all competitions, losing 10 in that sequence.
