Millwall to beat Birmingham

Millwall have hauled themselves into the Championship play-off race, following a run of just two defeats in their last 14 matches.

Gary Rowett’s side have taken seven points from their last three and trail sixth-placed Sheffield United by a point.

Birmingham were thumped 6-1 by Blackpool on Easter Monday, which was their third straight defeat.

Derby to beat Bristol City

Derby still look a good bet to take three point on Saturday, despite their relegation being confirmed following a defeat to QPR on Easter Monday.

The Rams’ home form had kept them in the fight for survival up to now, with eight victories from their last 11.

Wayne Rooney’s side beat champions elect Fulham 2-1 last time out at Pride Park, and are capable of beating a Bristol City side with 11 defeats from their last 15 on the road.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Wycombe

No side in League One has taken more points than the 18 accrued by Sheffield Wednesday over the last eight matches.

Darren Moore’s side have won four of their last five – including a 3-2 victory over third-placed MK Dons last weekend – and 12 of their last 17 as they mount a late push for the top two.

Wycombe are in decent form themselves and are unbeaten in 10, but recent draws with relegation fighters AFC Wimbledon and Gillingham show a vulnerability that the Owls could exploit.

Exeter to beat Rochdale

Second-placed Exeter could confirm their promotion to League One here with victory if other results also go their way.

The Grecians have won seven and drawn two of their last nine matches at St. James’ Park, while they have won seven of their last 10 league games overall.

Rochdale have lost five away games on the bounce, with their only victory in 13 coming against bottom-of-the-league Scunthorpe.

Salford to beat Oldham

Salford are three points off the play-off positions and have a great chance to make some ground here.

Gary Bowyer’s side have won five of their last eight matches, losing only to third- and fifth-placed Port Vale and Bristol Rovers respectively in that sequence.

Second-bottom Oldham have lost nine of their last 11 and could have their relegation confirmed with defeat on Saturday.
