Peterborough to beat Barnsley

Second-bottom Barnsley lost their 10th match out of 11 on Wednesday as they were beaten 2-0 at home to Swansea.

The Tykes have recorded just one victory in their last 17 league games and are the only Championship side yet to win away.

Peterborough were thumped 4-0 by Blackburn in midweek, but have taken four points from their last three home games, only losing to table-toppers Fulham.

Swansea to beat Reading

Swansea’s 2-0 victory at Barnsley on Wednesday was their third in six games and, back at home, they are capable of another three points.

Russell Martin’s side have dropped only two points in their last five matches at the Liberty Stadium, while they are unbeaten in eight there.

Reading have lost five of their last seven and have the sixth-worst travelling record in the division.

MK Dons to beat Morecambe

MK Dons were beaten by a stoppage-time Sheffield Wednesday goal in midweek, but are a great price to bounce back here.

MK had won four of their previous five league games prior to that defeat, with their only loss in that sequence coming against in-form Rotherham last month.

Morecambe rescued a point from two goals down against Charlton on Tuesday but have won one of their last eight league games, losing five.

Walsall to beat Carlisle

Walsall beat Port Vale 1-0 in midweek, becoming only the second side this season to take three points away from Vale Park.

The Saddlers have lost just one in nine as they improve after a slow start.

Second-bottom Carlisle are without a league win in 12 and have failed to score in their last five at Brunton Park.

Port Vale to beat Hartlepool

Port Vale were beaten 1-0 by Walsall in midweek, but their recent home form suggests they are capable of getting back to winning ways.

Darrell Clarke’s side had won seven and drawn one of their previous eight games in all competitions at Vale Park.

Hartlepool have lost back-to-back league games and have won once on the road all season.
