Newport to beat Morecambe & BTTS (Monday 15:00}

League Two play-off finals have offered a decent amount of entertainment recently, with three or more goals scored in three of the last four, and this one promises to be a thriller.

Just three teams in League Two scored more goals than Morecambe did over the course of the regular season, while they also conceded more than any other side in the top seven.

BTTS landed in both of the Shrimpers’ semi-final matches against Tranmere, while they have scored two or more in six of their last eight matches.

Newport, meanwhile, did the double over Morecambe this season with both sides bagging in both of those meetings, and qualified for the final after beating Forest Green 5-4 on aggregate last week.

Blackpool to beat Lincoln (Sunday 15:00)

Blackpool were the best side in League One for the second half of the season, taking 46 points from their final 22 games – a run that took them from mid-table to a play-off spot.

The Tangerines lost just two matches in that sequence of results. They come into the play-off final having won five and drawn one of their last six matches after a 6-3 aggregate victory over Oxford in the semi-final.

Lincoln’s form is sketchy at best in comparison, having won two of their last seven in all competitions. They also managed just two victories out of eight in the regular season against other top-six sides.

Under 1.5 goals in Brentford v Swansea (Saturday 15:00)

The Championship play-off final has been a nervy affair for several years, with under 1.5 goals landing on six of the last eight occasions.

Three of those finals, including when Brentford featured last year, finished 0-0 in 90 minutes, with the three others ending 1-0.

A repeat seems likely this year, with both of these teams sound in defence.

The Bees haven’t conceded more than once in any of their last 12 matches, keeping six clean sheets.

Six of Swansea’s last 14 matches have finished 1-0, with only the Championship’s top two conceding fewer goals across the whole campaign.
