Preston to beat Rotherham (15:00)

Preston come into this on the back of a 3-0 victory over league leaders Reading on Wednesday.

North End have the best away record in the Championship and have won each of their last four on the road.

Rotherham’s one victory in their last nine came against bottom-of-the-league Sheffield Wednesday.

Peterborough to beat Oxford (15:00)

Peterborough are top of League One following a run of eight victories and a draw in their last nine matches.

Posh beat Oxford 2-0 at home last month as part of that sequence.

Oxford have lost four of their last six matches.

Sunderland to beat Mansfield (15:00)

Sunderland beat Ipswich 2-1 at home on Tuesday, meaning they have won five of their last seven matches in all competitions.

Phil Parkinson’s side started that run with a 5-3  victory against League Two side Carlisle in the EFL Trophy last month.

Mansfield are still without a win in any competition after 14 matches this season.

Bayern Munich to beat Dortmund (17:30)

Bayern have won nine straight games in all competitions, including a 3-2 victory over Dortmund in the German Super Cup in September.

Hansi Flick’s side come into this on the back of a 6-2 win over RB Salzburg in the Champions League in midweek, while they are also top of the Bundesliga.

Dortmund have lost each of their last three matches against Bayern.

West Ham to beat Fulham (20:00)

West Ham put in a decent performance against Liverpool last week, initially going ahead before losing 2-1.

David Moyes’ side had previously taken eight points from a four-game period that included games against Manchester City, Tottenham and Leicester.

Fulham have lost five of their seven league games this season.

BTTS

Cagliari v Sampdoria (14:00)

Cagliari’s last four matches have finished 5-2, 3-2, 4-2 and 3-2.

That 42- results came in their last home match, and they take on a Sampdoria side that are not shy of goals either.

The visitors lost their first away game of the season 3-0, but BTTS has since landed in both of their last two on the road.

Norwich v Swansea (15:00)

BTTS had landed in three consecutive Norwich matches before Tuesday’s surprise 0-0 draw with Millwall.

The Canaries had scored nine goals in their five previous matches, including three in an exciting 3-1 win at Bristol City last weekend.

Swansea have netted in eight straight games, with BTTS landing in all of their last three on the road.

Barcelona v Real Betis (15:15)

All of Barcelona’s last four home games have seen both teams score, including a 2-1 win against Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday.

Ronald Koeman’s side are sure to score, having done so in all but one of their nine outings overall this term.

Real Betis lost 3-2 to Real Madrid last September and have also scored twice away at Valencia this season.

Forest Green to win or draw v Lincoln

Forest Green have lost just two of their last 12 games in all competitions, so can cause an FA Cup shock at Lincoln on Saturday.

Mark Cooper’s side beat Leyton Orient last time out, and take on a Lincoln side that has suffered a tricky week after a good start to the season.

The Imps have lost consecutive matches to Doncaster and Portsmouth, and are suffering an injury crisis that could result in them resting their most valuable first-team players here.

Ismaila Sarr (Watford) to score v Coventry

After coming close to joining Liverpool and Manchester United in the summer, Sarr is finding his feet in the Championship.

The forward has scored in two of his last three matches and is taking by far the most shots per game in Watford’s team, ranking ninth in the league for that metric.

Coventry have conceded 16 goals in their last seven games, including two in all of their last three on the road.
