WIN/DRAW/WIN

Newport to beat Leyton Orient (13:00)

Newport’s 2-1 defeat to Port Vale in midweek shouldn’t put you off here, given that it came off the back of a three-match winning streak.

Michael Flynn’s side will play this game at the Cardiff City Stadium, despite it being a home game, meaning they won’t be hampered by the terrible playing surface at Rodney Parade.

Leyton Orient’s only victory in 11 came against bottom-of-the-league Grimsby earlier this month.

Frankfurt to beat Union Berlin (14:30)

Frankfurt are one of three sides, along with Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg, yet to lose at home in the Bundesliga this season.

They have won five and drawn one of their last six at the Commerzbank Arena, beating Bayern Munich late last month.

Union Berlin’s only away win in five came against out-of-form Freiburg in February.

Barnsley to beat Sheffield Wednesday (15:00)

Barnsley have won nine and drawn three of their last 12 league matches, taking more points than any other side in the Championship.

That run has taken the Tykes to fifth in the table and a 3-1 victory at Wycombe on Tuesday made it three wins from three against teams currently in the relegation zone.

Sheffield Wednesday ended a seven-game losing streak with a 1-1 draw at home to Huddersfield, while their only victory in 10 came against bottom-of-the-league Wycombe.

Burton to beat MK Dons (15:00)

Burton have won eight and drawn one of their last 10 matches, with their only defeat in that sequence coming against in-form Sunderland last month.

The Brewers’ transformation under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been one of the stories of the season in League One and, having beaten promotion chasers Peterborough, Charlton and Hull in that run, they look a great price here.

MK Dons come into this having won back-to-back games, but three straight defeats on the road make them an appealing prospect to take on.

Sunderland to beat Lincoln (15:00)

Third-placed Sunderland are top of the eight-game form table in League One, having won seven and drawn one of their last eight matches

The Black Cats will come into this full of confidence, having beaten Tranmere in the 2020/21 EFL Trophy final at Wembley last weekend.

Fellow promotion hopefuls Lincoln, meanwhile, have lost four of their last six matches and are going in the opposite direction.

BTTS

BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Crotone v Bologna (14:00)

Crotone’s last three matches have finished 5-1, 4-2 and 3-2.

BTTS has landed in six of the hosts’ last eight home matches, while they haven’t kept a home clean sheet all season.

Bologna have scored in seven of their last eight matches, with their last two finishing 3-1.

Sunderland v Lincoln (15:00)

Sunderland have scored in their last 12 home matches in all competitions.

The Mackems have won their last five games to nil, but will do well to keep a clean sheet against Lincoln.

The Imps’ last four away matches have seen both teams score, while they have netted in 11 of their last 12 away games overall.

Bradford v Oldham (15:00)

BTTS has landed in all of Bradford’s last three matches, including 2-1 and 3-1 defeats in their last two.

The Bantams have also netted in all of their last five at Valley Parade.

Oldham have seen BTTS land in 69 per cent of their matches, including both of their last two. In their last five away games they have produced 4-3, 2-2 and 3-1 scorelines.

ANYTIME GOALSCORER

Daryl Dike (Barnsley) to score v Sheffield Wednesday (15:00)

Dike has scored in four of Barnsley’s last seven games, including in Wednesday’s win at Wycombe.

The USA international seems to be first choice of the Tykes’ strikers and fronts a side that has won nine of its last 10 games.

Sheffield Wednesday have conceded three goals in all of their last three away games and have the third-worst travelling defensive record in the league.

Norwich to beat Blackburn & Teemu Pukki to score (15:00)

This has landed in eight of Norwich’s last nine games.

Pukki has scored an incredible 11 goals on that run, including five in four at Carrow Road.

Blackburn have kept one away clean sheet in five, while this bet was a winner when the two sides met in December.
