WIN/DRAW/WIN

Swansea to beat Wycombe (12:30)

Wycombe have lost both of their league games since winning promotion to the Championship and are yet to even score.

The Chairboys were spanked 5-0 by Blackburn last Saturday and are second-bottom of the table, only above Sheffield Wednesday after they started on -12 points.

Swansea have taken four points from their opening two games and are yet to concede.

Hull to beat Northampton (15:00)

Hull are one of three sides in League One with a 100 per cent record after two games, following victories over Gillingham and Crewe.

The Tigers are yet to concede a league goal and should have enough to make it three wins from three against a Northampton side that has had an inconsistent start to the season.

Keith Curle’s side did beat Shrewsbury 2-1 last weekend but that was their first win in four in all competitions.

Salford to beat Forest Green (15:00)

Salford looked every bit promotion contenders during their 4-0 hammering of Grimsby last weekend.

That performance followed a 2-2 draw at home to fellow promotion hopefuls Exeter and, at odds-against, they have to be fancied.

Forest Green drew 2-2 with Bradford City last week, only rescuing a point with a 97th-minute equaliser, despite playing against nine men for the final 20 minutes.

Morecambe to beat Southend (15:00)

This price is too good to ignore for Morecambe to beat League Two’s crisis team.

Southend have lost four games out of four in all competitions, failing to score a single league goal and conceding six times.

Morecambe are coming in on the back of two heavy defeats to Newcastle in the cup and Cambridge in the league, but have the perfect chance to rectify that here.

Chelsea (-1) to beat West Brom (17:30)

West Brom have lost both of their league games by a margin of three goals so far this season.

The Baggies shipped five at Everton last weekend and come into this on the back of a 2-2 draw with Championship Brentford in the EFL Cup in midweek, so Chelsea shouldn’t have any problem in scoring.

Frank Lampard’s side beat Barnsley 6-0 on Wednesday and have won two out of three in all competitions, only losing to current champions Liverpool.

Crewe v MK Dons (15:00)

Crewe are yet to score in League One this season, but only five teams have had more attempts on goal.

They will surely end their duck against MK Dons, who have conceded in all four of their matches so far this season.

BTS has landed in all of the last three of those, as well as in eight of their last 10 league away games of last season.

Portsmouth v Wigan (15:00)

Portsmouth will surely score against a Wigan team with a new-look defence that has conceded five goals in two league matches.

Despite their off-field issues, though, the Laics are a good bet to score themselves.

They have done so eight times in the last week – twice in a 3-2 defeat to Gillingham last weekend and six times against Liverpool under-23s on Tuesday.

Salford v Forest Green (15:00)

Forest Green drew 2-2 with Bradford last Saturday in a game that could have seen even more goals.

They take on Salford, who have scored six goals in two matches and drew their previous home league game 2-2.

Graham Alexander’s side lost the shot count 17-12 in their 4-0 win at Grimsby last week, so are not as secure defensively as that result suggests.

MYTHBUSTER

Millwall to win or draw v Brentford & under 3.5 goals (15:00)

Brentford have lost their last three Championship away games (including a play-off semi-final first leg) 1-0.

The Bees only won four of their 11 away matches against top-half opposition last season, including a 1-0 defeat to Millwall at The Den.

The Lions only lost two of their 11 home matches against top-half opposition, with under 3.5 goals landing in all but two of those matches.

ANYTIME GOALSCORER

Ian Henderson (Salford) to score v Forest Green (15:00)

Henderson has scored five goals in four games since signing for Salford in the summer, only failing to net away at Everton in the EFL Cup.

That run includes a hat-trick at Grimsby last time out.

Forest Green drew 2-2 at home to Bradford last week, and should play their part in an end-to-end game that will present Henderson with chances to score.
