WIN/DRAW/WIN

Bolton to beat Forest Green (12:00)

No side in League Two have earned more points than Bolton (32) over the last 12 matches.

Wanderers have won 10 and drawn two in that sequence and another victory on Saturday would see them leapfrog their opposition into the automatic promotion spots.

Forest Green have won just one of their last four matches, failing to score in both of their last two.

Sunderland to beat Bristol Rovers (15:00)

Bristol Rovers come into this on the back of three straight defeats, while they have lost six out of nine since Joey Barton took over as manager last month.

That run of results has seen the Gas drop into the bottom four of League One, where they are two points from safety.

Sunderland have won eight and drawn three of their last 11 matches in all competitions, including three victories from their last four away games in the league.

Cheltenham to beat Morecambe (15:00)

League Two leaders Cheltenham got back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Salford last weekend.

Michael Duff’s side had previously lost 2-0 to relegation candidates Barrow, but a run of eight victories in 11 matches means they look decent value here.

Fellow promotion chasers Morecambe have also been in decent form, but a 3-1 defeat to Newport in their last home game showed that they have vulnerabilities.

Stevenage to beat Barrow (15:00)

Barrow’s survival hopes were dealt a blow in midweek following their 1-0 defeat to bottom-of-the-league Grimsby, who were without a win in seven.

That result ended a run of four straight victories for Rob Kelly’s side, who are now six points above the drop zone.

Stevenage are unbeaten in nine and have won three home games on the bounce, including against promotion chasers Carlisle and Forest Green.

Republic of Ireland to beat Luxembourg (19:45)

This is a short price, but still a generous one considering the relative quality in both sides.

Ireland are winless in 12 matches, although their home form remains solid – they have won four and drawn four of their last nine at the Aviva Stadium.

Luxembourg have taken one point from their last six qualifying matches, which came in a 1-1 draw away to Lithuania in June 2019.

Peterborough v Accrington Stanley (15:00)

Peterborough have scored in all but one of their last 22 home matches.

Posh have seen BTTS land in 14 of those games, including in two of their last three, while their last two matches have finished 3-3 and 3-1.

Accrington have scored and conceded in six of their last seven games.

Carlisle v Cambridge (15:00)

BTTS has landed in nine of Carlisle’s last 10 matches, including a 3-2 and four 3-1s.

The Cumbrians are without a clean sheet in 12 overall.

Cambridge’s last two away games have finished 2-1 and 4-2, while they have scored in eight straight matches on the road.

Norway v Turkey (17:00)

Norway have scored in 19 consecutive home matches, with BTTS landing against better teams like Sweden, Spain, Austria and Serbia in the last couple of years.

They play Turkey, who have scored and conceded in six of their last seven.

That run includes two 3-3s, a 4-2, 3-2, 2-2, so this looks set to be a high scorer.

MYTHBUSTER

Southend to win or draw v Harrogate (15:00)

Southend have lost just one of their last six away games, including wins at promotion-chasers Newport and Forest Green.

The Shrimpers’ only defeat on that run was at league leaders Cheltenham, while their hopes of survival rest on picking up points from games like this.

The same cannot be said for Harrogate, who have no realistic chance of making the play-off positions or being sucked into a relegation battle.

That end-of-season malaise seems to have begun, with Saturday’s hosts losing both of their last two.

ANYTIME GOALSCORER

Jerry Yates (Blackpool) to score v Plymouth (15:00)

Yates has scored 16 goals this season, including two in Blackpool’s 3-1 win over Peterborough on Saturday.

The forward is on penalty duty for the Tangerines, who have scored five goals in their last two games to move into League One’s top six.

Plymouth have conceded seven goals in their last four away games.
