QPR to beat Charlton to nil (12:30)

Charlton ended a run of three straight losses by beating struggling Hull 1-0 last weekend.

The Addicks had failed to score in each of those defeats, while their goal at the KCOM Stadium came from a set piece. Without top scorer Lyle Taylor, who has refused to sign a new contract, it is reasonable to suggest they will struggle to score against the better teams in the division.

QPR were beaten 1-0 by Barnsley on Saturday but had gone six unbeaten prior to that and, at such a tasty price, are irresistible.

Athletic Bilbao to beat Mallorca & under 2.5 goals (13:00)

Athletic Bilbao have won four of their last six matches in all competitions at the Estadio San Mames, including a 1-0 victory over Barcelona in the Copa del Rey in February.

Gaizka Garitano’s side haven’t scored more than one goal in any of those matches, while there have been fewer than three goals in all of their last 10 home games.

Mallorca were beaten 2-0 by Real Madrid on Wednesday and have picked up one point in four games since the restart.

Freiburg to beat Schalke & under 3.5 goals (14:30)

Schalke haven’t won any of their last 15 matches in the Bundesliga and can count themselves fortunate that the season is ending this weekend.

David Wagner’s side have lost six of their eight games since the restart and have scored just five goals in that period.

Freiburg have won back-to-back home games against Borussia Monchengladbach and Hertha Berlin. They have scored more than two goals just twice in their last 30 matches.

Stoke to beat Middlesbrough (15:00)

Middlesbrough sacked manager Jonathan Woodgate and replaced him with Neil Warnock in midweek after a 3-0 defeat at home to Swansea last Saturday left them teetering on the edge of the relegation zone.

Boro are above third-bottom Hull on goal difference only and have won one of their last 14 in all competitions.

It seems unlikely Warnock will have been able to change a great amount in his few days in charge, and Stoke have won four of their last five home games.

Wigan to beat Blackburn (15:00)

This is the riskiest of the five picks, but Wigan continued their impressive post-lockdown form with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield last weekend.

That was the Latics’ fourth victory in five unbeaten matches, and they have only lost one in 10.

Blackburn also restarted with a win, beating out-of-form Bristol City 3-1, but had gone four without victory prior to that. They have won two of eight away from Ewood Park, beating strugglers Charlton and Sheffield Wednesday.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

Dortmund to win or draw v Hoffenheim & BTTS (14:30)

Neither team has much to play for here, so it is worth backing them to lay on a goal-fest to finish the season.

Dortmund matches have returned 22 goals across the final day of the last five seasons. They are in decent nick this term, too, winning 2-0 at RB Leipzig last week.

Hoffenheim have won their last two matches 3-1 and 4-0, so should at least get on the scoresheet themselves. They have produced 3-1, 4-1 and 4-2 scorelines on the last day of three of the last four seasons.

BTTS: No in Celta Vigo v Barcelona (16:00)

Barcelona have kept five consecutive clean sheets, with BTTS not landing in any of their last six matches.

There have been goals at both ends in just two of their last seven away from home, including a 0-0 draw at Sevilla last Friday.

Both teams have scored in none of Celta Vigo’s last seven matches, a run that includes three 0-0s and three 1-0s.

Union Berlin to win or draw v Fortuna Dusseldorf & under 4.5 goals (14:30)

Dusseldorf have far more motivation to win this game, which explains why they are such heavy favourites to win away from home, but it is worth remembering why they are in relegation trouble in the first place.

Uwe Rosler’s side are without an away win in five matches, with under 4.5 goals landing in all but a 5-0 defeat at Bayern.

They have only won two of their 16 Bundesliga away games all season, and take on an Union Berlin side that have only lost to Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich in their last 12 at home.

ANYTIME GOALSCORER

Rhian Brewster (Swansea) to score v Luton (12:30)

Brewster has scored six goals in 13 appearances since signing on loan for Swansea in January, including a spectacular brace inside 21 minutes against Middlesbrough last week.

He ranks 12th in the Championship for shots per game, and had four in that match at the Riverside last week.

Luton are dreadful defensively, conceding at least twice in 13 of their last 15 away games.

Scott Hogan (Birmingham) to score v Hull (15:00)

Hogan has scored seven goals in 10 appearances for Birmingham since signing in January, including one in each of his last two matches at St Andrew’s.

The 28-year-old ranks eighth for shots per game in the Championship and takes on a team in desperate trouble.

Hull are a club in crisis, losing 11 of their last 13 matches and conceding 10 goals in their last three on the road. Several of their first-team players are no longer playing for them after contract disputes.
