Bristol City to beat Reading (12:30)

Reading came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw away to Millwall in midweek, but that was their first point in five matches.

The Royals have lost 3-0 to Stoke and Preston in back-to-back home games.

Bristol City come into this having dropped just two points in their last four matches, so represent decent value here.

Stoke to beat Sheffield Wednesday (15:00)

Sheffield Wednesday drew 1-1 away to Swansea in midweek, meaning they have managed just one victory in their last eight league games.

The Owls have failed to score in five of their last seven and have managed just one victory at Hillsborough this season.

Stoke have won eight and lost only three of their last 13 in all competitions, so look a hefty price here.

Watford to beat Preston (15:00)

Watford have the second-best home record in the Championship, having won five and drawn one of their six games at Vicarage Road this season.

The Hornets have collected one point fewer than Bournemouth at home, despite playing a game fewer.

Preston were thumped 3-0 at home to Blackburn in midweek and have lost four of their last six.

Oldham to beat Bradford (15:00)

Oldham came from behind to beat Barrow 4-3 on Tuesday to record their fourth straight away victory in all competitions.

The Latics have won six of their last eight, including a 3-1 victory at Valley Parade in the EFL Trophy earlier this month.

Bradford were beaten 1-0 at Leyton Orient last time out, are winless in four and have lost six of their last nine.

Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Schalke & over 2.5 goals (17:30)

Schalke have the worst travelling record in the Bundesliga, having picked up just one point in four matches this season.

The visitors have conceded a total of 17 goals in those matches – six more than any other side in the division.

Gladbach hammered Shakhtar 4-0 at home on Wednesday and have lost only one of their last 11 in all competitions, with seven of those matches coming in over the 2.5 goal mark.

Watford v Preston (15:00)

BTTS has landed in Watford’s last four home matches, with both of the last two finishing 3-2.

The Hornets have scored in all but two of their last nine games overall and take on a Preston side that is impressive on the road.

North End have netted at least twice in six of their seven away matches this season, with BTTS landing in five of them.

Cheltenham v Crewe (15:00)

Cheltenham have scored in all but one of their 11 home matches this season, including a 3-1 win over South Shields in the last round of the FA Cup.

They take on Crewe, who won 3-2 at Bolton in the last round.

The visitors have scored 11 goals in their last six games, including 2-3, 3-4 and 4-1 scorelines.

Plymouth v Lincoln (15:00)

Plymouth’s last five home matches have finished 2-1, 2-1, 4-2, 3-1, 2-2.

Argyle have scored in all of their 10 home matches overall, with the opposition also scoring in eight of them.

Lincoln are not so entertaining away from home, but they did beat Forest Green 6-2 in the last round and have scored in seven of their last nine games across the board.

Wycombe to win or draw v Derby & under 3.5 goals (15:00)

This has all the makings of being a pretty mediocre game of football.

Wycombe’s last two matches have finished 0-0, increasing their decent run of form to one defeat in six.

Derby are in a terrible way, scoring just once in six home matches this season. The Rams have picked up one win in 15 games overall, so are likely to come out on the wrong side of a low scorer.

Leeds to win or draw v Everton & over 1.5 goals (17:30)

By contrast, Leeds can take at least a point from what should be an entertaining game at Everton.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have already won at Sheffield United and Aston Villa on the road this season, and gave Liverpool a good run for their money on the opening weekend.

They have also avoided defeat against Manchester City and Arsenal.

Everton’s marginal 3-2 win over Fulham last week was their first in five games. This bet had landed in their four previous matches, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side conceding at least twice in all of their last six.
