Eddie Nketiah (Arsenal) to score v Everton (12:30)

Nketiah has scored six goals in seven matches since the World Cup, including three in four away games.

His xG tallies in the five league games on that run read 0.51, 0.98, 0.11, 1.57 and 1.80, while he has taken an average of 3.8 shot per game.

Everton will likely improve under Sean Dyche, but have the second-worst xG against tally in the league so far.

BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Cologne v RB Leipzig (14:30)

This bet has landed in eight of Cologne’s 12 home matches this season, including 2-2, 2-1 and 7-1 scorelines in their last three.

BTTS & over 2.5 goals has also landed in six of RB Leipzig’s last seven games, including in all of their last three away from home.

The reverse fixture between these sides in August finished 2-2.

Union Berlin to beat Mainz (14:30)

Union Berlin maintained their 100 per cent record since returning after the World Cup last week, with a 2-0 away victory against city rivals Hertha.

That result kept them in second place in the Bundesliga, one point behind leaders Bayern Munich.

Mainz were thrashed 4-0 in a midweek cup game at Bayern and have won one in eight in all competitions.

Villarreal to beat Elche to nil (15:15)

Bottom-of-the-league Elche are the only team in La Liga yet to win a game this season.

Pablo Machin’s side have drawn six and lost 13 of their 19 league games. They have also scored just 12 goals this season – fewer than any other club.

Villarreal have won four of their last six and have the second-meanest defence in the league, having conceded 14.

Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Schalke & over 2.5 goals (17:30)

Over 2.5 goals has landed in Borussia Monchengladbach’s last six home games, a run that includes four wins.

Schalke have lost their last six away games, with all of the last five featuring over 2.5 goals.

The reverse fixture finished 2-2 in August, and while the goals tally should be similar, home advantage should mean a win for Monchengladbach here.
