WIN/DRAW/WIN

Brighton to beat Watford (15:00)

Brighton come into this game unbeaten in six Premier League matches – a run that includes two 1-1 draws with Chelsea.

Graham Potter’s side beat Watford 2-0 in the reverse fixture in August and, at odds against, are worth backing for another three points.

Watford’s 1-0 defeat at West Ham in midweek leaves them three points from safety in the Premier League and without a win in 11 in all competitions.

QPR to beat Barnsley (15:00)

Barnsley are bottom of the Championship, having accrued just 14 points over the course of 29 matches.

The Tykes have lost six straight league games and are winless in 13.

Fourth-placed QPR have won five and drawn two of their last seven league games.

Luton to beat Birmingham (15:00)

Luton have won seven of their last nine matches in all competitions, losing only against in-form Sheffield United last month.

That run has seen Nathan Jones’ side climb to within a point of the top six in the Championship and into the FA Cup fifth round.

Birmingham’s only victory in their last 12 matches came against bottom-of-the-league Barnsley last month.

Tranmere to beat Walsall (15:00)

Walsall sacked manager Matty Taylor in midweek following their 1-0 defeat to bottom-of-the-league Scunthorpe, which was their seventh on the spin.

That run has seen the Saddlers slide to within two places and four points of the relegation zone.

Second-placed Tranmere beat play-off contenders Swindon 3-0 on Tuesday, which was their 10th victory in 13 league games.

PSV to beat Vitesse (19:00)

PSV have lost back-to-back matches – against form sides Ajax and AZ Alkmaar – but are still worth backing at this price.

Roger Schmidt’s side have won 15 league games out of 21 and have only dropped two points in their last five away games.

Vitesse were thumped 5-0 at Ajax in the cup in midweek, meaning they have lost three straight games.

GOALS

BTTS in Everton v Leeds (15:00)

Everton were dragged into the relegation battle following their 3-1 defeat at Newcastle in midweek, but that was the ninth time in their last 10 matches that both teams have scored.

Leeds, meanwhile, have been involved in 15 BTTS matches out of 22 this season.

The reverse fixture ended 2-2 at Elland Road in August, expect another goalfest here.

Fulham to score over 1.5 goals v Hull (15:00)

Fulham are the top scorers in the Championship by 30 goals, having bagged 77 in 29 matches at an average of 2.66 per game.

The Cottagers have hit seven once, six twice and three twice in their last six league games.

Hull have shipped four goals in their last two matches.

BTTS in Oxford v Bolton (15:00)

Oxford have been involved in 21 league games in which both teams have scored – more than any other side in League One.

The last five results for the U’s read: 0-2. 3-2, 1-1, 7-2, 3-2.

Bolton have scored 14 goals in their last six matches, so should also do their bit.

MYTHBUSTER

Doncaster to win or draw v Portsmouth (15:00)

Bottom-of-the-league Doncaster have been poor this season, but this is a massive price for them to get a point.

Despite losing 21 games out of 31 in League One, Rovers have managed back0ti0back away victories against promotion-chasing Sunderland and MK Dons.

Portsmouth’s midweek win over burton was their first in six matches.

GOALSCORER

Dom Telford (Newport) to score v Oldham (15:00)

This is a short price for a goalscorer, but a warranted one. Telford has scored 21 goals in 24 matches in all competition for Newport this season and is equal-top goalscorer in League Two.

Fourteen of Telford’s goals have come in nine home games, while there have only been three matches at Rodney Parade this season in which he has failed to score.

Second-bottom Oldham have conceded nine goals in their last five matches in all competitions.
