Liverpool to beat Aston Villa to nil (16:30)

Liverpool have won five league games out of five against sides currently in the bottom three.

Jurgen Klopp’s side also have the best defensive record in the division, having conceded 25 goals, and kept back-to-back clean sheets before Thursday's beating at Man City.

Aston Villa have lost seven and drawn two of their last nine matches in all competitions, failing to score in three of their last five.

Atalanta to beat Cagliari & over 2.5 goals (18:30)

Atalanta come into this on the back of 10 wins in an 11-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have netted 82 league goals this season – 16 more than any other side in Serie A – and have scored three or more in six of their last seven.

Cagliari were held to a 1-1 draw by Bologna on Wednesday and have won two of their last 16 games in all competitions.

Sampdoria to beat SPAL (18:30)

Only one side have earned fewer points than second-bottom SPAL in the last 12 matches in Serie A.

The relegation candidates have lost seven of their last nine league games and are just one point above bottom side Brescia.

Sampdoria ended a three-game losing streak against out-of-form Lecce in midweek and should make it back-to-back victories against another team in trouble.

BTTS

Burnley v Sheffield United: No (12:00)

These sides have netted a combined total of six goals in eight matches since the restart, so don’t expect many goals in this one.

Burnley have the lowest BTTS percentage in the Premier League this season, with both teams scoring in just 11 of their 32 matches.

Sheffield United’s matches have been almost as low-scoring, with BTTS landing in just 13 of their 32 games so far.

Espanyol v Leganes: No (16:00)

Espanyol and Leganes are 19th and 20th in La Liga respectively and are also the division’s two lowest scorers.

The hosts’ defeat to Real Madrid last weekend was their second consecutive 1-0 loss, and they’ve scored just twice in their last five matches.

Leganes, meanwhile, are coming off a 3-0 thrashing at Sevilla and have only scored twice in their last five league games.

Villarreal v Barcelona: Yes (21:00)

Barcelona’s last two matches have finished 2-2 and this one should be similarly high scoring.

The Catalan giants have bagged 74 goals in 33 games this season and will surely find the net again here, but in-form Villarreal should also cause them plenty of problems at the back.

Javier Calleja’s side have scored in all six of their matches since the restart, netting twice in each of their last three games against Sevilla, Valencia and Real Betis.

MYTHBUSTERS

Sheffield Wednesday to win or draw v Swansea & under 3.5 goals (12:00)

Sheffield Wednesday have lost four of their last eight matches, but that run included ties against Manchester City and teams now in the top seven of the Championship.

Garry Monk’s side have avoided defeat in nine of their last 13 away games, the most recent of which was a solid 2-1 win at Bristol City last week.

Swansea have won just two of their last 12 matches, both of which were against teams in the bottom six of the Championship. Two of their last four home games finished 0-0, while they also lost 1-0 at home to Luton last weekend.

Villarreal to win or draw v Barcelona (21:00)

Barcelona’s title pursuit is in danger of falling apart after they drew three of their last four matches, including away at Sevilla and Celta Vigo.

There are rumours of a rift between the players and manager Quique Setien so a trip to Villarreal looks like the last thing that they need.

The hosts have won five and drawn one of their last six games, and have already drawn at home to Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid this season.

ANYTIME GOALSCORERS

Charlie Austin (West Brom) to score v Hull (15:00)

Austin returned to West Brom’s starting XI with a goal against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

And against a defence as poor as Hull’s he is an obvious bet to repeat the trick on Sunday.

The Tigers have conceded 13 goals in their last four away games, including three at Birmingham last weekend.

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) to score v Aston Villa (16:30)

He may be odds-on, but Salah looks fantastic value to score against a poor Aston Villa side on Sunday.

The Egyptian, who is in contention for a third consecutive Golden Boot, has scored in 12 of his 15 home league games so far this season.

He has netted in all of his four home games against the Premier League’s bottom five this season, and another seems inevitable here.
