Southampton draw no bet v Tottenham (12:00)

Tottenham were poor in last Sunday’s defeat to Everton and, on that evidence, look unlikely to beat Southampton at St Mary’s.

Jose Mourinho’s side have won two of their last 13 away games, and their low energy levels won’t be helped by the fact that they played a Europa League qualifier against Lokomotiv Plovdiv in Bulgaria on Thursday.

Southampton lost just four of their last 12 home games of last season, including wins in this fixture and against Manchester City.

Brighton to win or draw v Newcastle & over 1.5 goals (14:15)

Brighton played well in defeat to Chelsea on Monday, conceding two of the three goals via an individual error and a freak deflection.

Graham Potter’s side are unbeaten in seven away games, too, ending last season with a 1-1 draw at Southampton and 2-1 win at Burnley.

Newcastle ended last season by failing to win any of their last five home games, with over 1.5 goals landing in all of them.

Over 2.5 goals in Wolfsburg v Bayer Leverkusen (17:00)

This bet landed in seven of Wolfsburg’s last eight games of last season, including in all of their last five.

There were also at least three goals in eight of Leverkusen’s last 12 away games of last season.

Wolfsburg beat Leverkusen 4-1 when the two teams met at the end of May.

BTTS in Leicester v Burnley (19:00)

After their 5-0 defeat to Manchester City, Burnley scored in all of their remaining eight matches in the Premier League restart last season.

Leicester scored in all but one of their home games against teams outside the top seven last term.

Both teams scored in both matches between these teams last season, too.

Juventus to beat Sampdoria and Cristiano Ronaldo to score (19:45)

Ronaldo ended last season by scoring in six consecutive Juventus home games, five of which Juventus won.

This bet would have landed in 10 of Juve’s last 13 home matches of last season overall.

Sampdoria were beaten in both Serie A fixtures against Juventus last season, with Ronaldo scoring in both.
