Real Sociedad to beat Alaves & over 1.5 goals (15:15)

Real Sociedad beat Cadiz 4-1 in their last La Liga home game, and can do similar damage to Alaves here despite their pasting from Manchester United on Thursday.

Imanol Alguacil’s side rank second for xPoints in La Liga this season.

The visitors have been beaten 3-1, 5-0 and 5-1 in three of their last four away games.

PSV to beat Vitesse Arnheim & over 1.5 goals (15:45)

PSV have won nine of their last 10 home matches, with over 1.5 goals landing in all but one of them.

The hosts rank second for shots per home game in the Eredivisie and have scored 2.32 goals per home game.

Vitesse have lost four of their last six away games, and have been beaten 2-1 and 3-1 at Ajax and AZ Alkmaar this season.

Man City to beat Arsenal & under 4.5 goals (16:30)

Manchester City have won 17 consecutive matches, with under 4.5 goals landing in 14 of them.

At a price of close to evens, backing the same outcome once again seems prudent.

City have conceded two goals in nine league games, and – with Borussia Monchengladbach to come in the Champions League on Wednesday – will keep some energy in reserve if they can get this won early.

Arsenal only lost the reverse fixture 1-0 at the Etihad, and have been defensively sound against the top sides this season, so should keep the score down.

Manchester United to beat Newcastle to nil (19:00)

Manchester United have won four of their last six Premier League games at Old Trafford, so should take three points from this one.

This tip is mainly about Newcastle, though, who have scored in just one of their last eight away games – two goals at Everton that were both scored by Callum Wilson, who is now injured.

Steve Bruce’s side rank in the bottom three for xG, shots per game and goals away from home.

PSG to beat Monaco & over 1.5 goals (20:00)

PSG have won five consecutive matches, all but one of which have featured over 1.5 goals.

The Parisians are just getting going under Mauricio Pochettino, and after beating Barcelona 4-1 can concentrate on taking charge of the Ligue 1 title race.

Monaco are on a fantastic run, too, but have lost 4-1, 2-1 and 2-1 away at Lyon, Lille and Marseille this season.
