Will Rook provides his football tips from Tuesday's action in the Premier League, Serie A and the Primeira Liga.

Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City) to score v Watford (18:00)

Given Manchester City’s lack of another fit centre forward, it feels logical to assume that Gabriel Jesus will avoid Pep Guardiola’s selection roulette.

The Brazilian has netted 21 goals in all competitions this season, including three in his last three league appearances.

He ranks fifth in the Premier League for shots per game and bagged a brace in his last game against Watford, who haven’t kept a clean sheet in eight.

Atalanta to beat Bologna & BTTS (18:30)

Atalanta’s 1-1 draw with Hella Verona last weekend was only the third game in 16 in all competitions that they have failed to win.

La Dea are the second-highest scorers in Europe’s top five leagues with 94 goals, with BTTS landing in 12 of their last 15 matches.

Bologna have been involved in the highest proportion of BTTS matches of any Serie A side this season, with both teams bagging in 27 of their 34 league matches.

Sporting Lisbon to beat Vitoria Setubal & under 3.5 goals (19:00)

Sporting come into this with the second-best home record in the Primeira Liga, having won 12 out of 16 matches.

They are currently on a nine-match winning streak in all competitions at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, but haven’t scored more than two goals in any of their last 13 home league games.

Ruben Amorim’s side are the lowest scorers in the top five of the division, but should do enough against opponents that are without a win in 14 and have lost six straight games.

BTTS: No & under 2.5 goals in Aston Villa v Arsenal (20:15)

Aston Villa have failed to score in four of their eight games since the restart, while three of their five goals have come from defenders.

Dean Smith’s side have registered just one shot on target in three of their last five matches and, with a defeat having the potential to kill their fight for survival, are likely to try and keep it tight at the back.

BTTS has failed to land in four of Arsenal’s last six away games in the Premier League and they haven’t scored more than twice in any of their last 15 on the road.

Hakan Calhanoglu (AC Milan) to score v Sassuolo (20:45)

Calhanoglu has scored nine goals in all competitions this season, with four of those coming his last seven appearances – including two in his last two.

The Turkish midfielder is AC Milan’s free-kick taker and averages three shots on goal per game, ranking second behind in the squad behind only Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Sassuolo haven’t kept a clean sheet in nine matches, conceding two or more on four separate occasions in that period.
