Aguero was rested on Saturday, so is sure to play, while Dries Mertens has three goals in his last two.

Nicolas Otamendi to be booked - {ODDS;206286159:13/8}

Otamendi showed signs of the inconsistency that has plagued his Premier League career at West Brom on Saturday, and face some of the best attackers in Europe on Wednesday.

Tottenham v Real Madrid

Both teams to score –

Real Madrid have conceded in seven of their last 10 matches, and are always likely scorers themselves.

Serge Aurier to be booked -

Aurier was booked at the Bernabeu, and another yellow in the return fixture is a good bet considering the players he will be trying to keep quiet.

Son Heung-Min to score –

Son leads the Tottenham counter-attack excellently, so is a good bet to take advantage against that questionable Madrid defence.

Preston v Aston Villa

Double chance: Draw/Aston Villa –

Villa’s only league defeat since the middle of August was at Wolves, while Preston suffered home defeat to Brentford on Saturday.

Jonathan Kodjia to score –

Kodjia showed glimpses of good form against Birmingham on Sunday, and is sure to get going soon after his 19-goal haul last season.

Both teams to score –

Preston should score, though, considering that they have done so in six of their seven matches at Deepdale this season.
