SPAL v Lazio –

SPAL have scored and conceded in eight of their last 10 league games – including against Juventus and Roma – and that run should extend at home to Lazio.

The visitors’ 0-0 draw at Inter last weekend can be written off as an anomaly considering there had been goals at both ends in their eight previous away games.

No Serie A team has been involved in more BTTS matches than Simone Inzaghi’s side this season, while their hosts are third on that list.

Coventry v Stoke –

There is little doubt that Coventry are capable of at least one goal against struggling Premier League opposition.

The Sky Blues have scored nine in four consecutive wins at the Ricoh Arena coming into this one, while Stoke have not kept a clean sheet since the end of October.

Under-pressure manager Mark Hughes is unlikely to forfeit this game with an overly-weakened side, though, so the visitors should extend a decent record of at least one goal in six of their last eight away matches.

Fulham v Southampton –

Southampton should be exceptionally wary of a Fulham side that has scored 12 goals in their last four matches.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side scored four in a seven-minute blitz against Ipswich at Craven Cottage on Tuesday evening, with Aboubakar Kamara notching his second consecutive brace.

The Cottagers have conceded in all of those four games, though, so Southampton – who have scored and conceded in eight of their last 10 – should contribute to the entertainment.

Newcastle v Luton –

Luton have plundered 12 more goals than the EFL’s next-most prolific side, and their scintillating frontline is more than capable of scoring at St James’ Park.

An attack that has netted seven or more goals three times already this season will relish the chance to get at a defence that has conceded nine goals in its last five home matches.

The Premier League side should, of course, have the quality to score themselves, particularly considering their visitors shipped four at Port Vale in their last away match.
