Moussa Marega –

Amid injury concerns over Porto’s main striker Victor Aboubakar, Liverpool may need to turn their attentions to his strike partner.

Marega struggled for goals in the first half of the season, but has excelled since the start of December, scoring eight goals in eight matches.

The Malian is strong in the air and a good finisher, so will relish coming up against a Liverpool backline whose only clean sheet in a European away game this season came at Maribor.

Neymar –

Neymar and Edinson Cavani go off at the same price to score for PSG in the Bernabeu on Wednesday, but the former is the better bet.

Cavani has scored just two goals in five appearances in 2018, a record that can partly be put down to losing the public battle for penalty duty – and talismanic status – to his team-mate.

The world’s most expensive player has scored three spot-kicks in his eight goals since the turn of the year, and has established himself as the Ligue 1 leaders’ main man.

Raheem Sterling –

Sterling ended the Champions League group stages with four goals in as many appearances, and comes into the knockout stages with nine goals in his last 14 matches in all competitions.

So many of his goals are the result of Kevin De Bruyne brilliance, so the Belgian’s relentless form improves Sterling’s chances even further.

Harry Kane –

Kane’s winner against Arsenal at the weekend means he has netted 18 goals in 17 games since his last Champions League appearance – and goal – at Dortmund in November, a run which includes two hat-tricks and three braces.

Having plundered a decisive hat-trick against Apoel, forced Raphael Varane’s own goal in the Bernabeu and put two past Dortmund at Wembley in the group stage, only Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more goals in the competition this season.
