Double chance: Draw or Manchester City –

Manchester City appear likely to play a weakened team in Shakhtar, but this is still a fantastic price for them to avoid defeat.

Gabriel Jesus to score anytime –

Having made such an impact off the bench against West Ham, backing Jesus at an odds-against price is a must.

Eliaquim Mangala to be carded -

Mangala is evidently City’s weak link, and is likely to play in this one with other defenders rested ahead of the Manchester derby.

Tottenham v APOEL Nicosia

Tottenham (-2) –

APOEL have lost by at least three in all three matches with Tottenham and Real Madrid, and that trend should continue at Wembley, where Spurs have been strong in the Champions League.

Fernando Llorente to score –

Harry Kane is likely to get a rest in this one, opening the door for Llorente to play and score.

Serge Aurier to be carded -

Aurier has received four cards already this season, and is available at a nice price to make that five.

Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund

Real Madrid to win (-1) –

Dortmund have already been knocked out of the competition and are in woeful form, failing to win any of their last 11 matches.

Karim Benzema to score –

Having scored twice in Madrid's last Champions League game, Benzema is a better value pick than the out-of-form Cristiano Ronaldo to score in this one.

Under 2.5 cards

With so little riding on it, this is unlikely to be a tempestuous game.

Besides which, there have been fewer than two cards in Real Madrid’s last three Champions League matches.
