PSG V REAL MADRID

PSG to score first –

PSG have to go for it after losing 3-1 at the Bernabeu, and the French champions are worth backing to start fast.

They broke the deadlock through Adrien Rabiot in the first leg, and have netted the first goal in eight of their last nine home matches.

Angel Di Maria to score –

Angel Di Maria. Remember him? The former Manchester United winger has been on fire in 2018, scoring 13 goals in 16 games.

He has scored braces against Rennes, Dijon and Marseille since the start of January, and bagged a hat-trick against Sochaux in the French Cup last month.

Cristiano Ronaldo to score –

Ronaldo’s prolific in the Europe, having scored in all seven of Real Madrid’s Champions League matches this season.

The 33-year-old has found the net 10 times in his last five appearances, including twice in the first leg of this tie.

Sergio Ramos to be carded –

Ramos has been carded in six of his last 12 appearances in all competitions, including a red against Athletic Bilbao in December.

A master of the cynical foul, the Real captain seems a certainty to get booked in this kind of game, which may require more defending – and gamesmanship – than usual.

Dani Carvajal to be carded –

Carvajal is the only Real Madrid player who gets booked even more than Ramos.

The 26-year-old has been carded 14 times in 31 games this season, including in all three of his Champions League appearances so far.
