Here are Guy Giles' tips for Tottenham Hotspur v Ajax on Tuesday. 

Both teams to score 

Tottenham’s 1-0 defeat to West Ham at the weekend was the first time in ten home matches they have failed to score, so they should return to scoring form on Tuesday.

Ajax are one of the best attacking sides in Europe, having netted an incredible 111 goals in the Eredivisie and 32 in the Champions League.

Christian Eriksen to score 

Eriksen has not had his best scoring season, scoring just nine in all competitions, with two of those in the Champions League.

But the 27-year-old has hit some form in recent weeks, including a late winner against Brighton, and with Son Heung-min suspended the Dane will be Spurs’ main goal threat.

Dusan Tadic to score

Tadic made a surprise return to Ajax in the summer and is enjoying the season of his life, netting an impressive 34 goals in all competitions so far.

The former Southampton forward has been pulling the strings in attack all season for the Eredivisie leaders, so he is a good bet to net against a Spurs defence which has conceded 14 times in 10 Champions League games.

Nicolas Tagliafico to be booked

The Argentina international has 11 yellow cards in all competitions this season, including five in the Champions League.

That tally saw him suspended for the second leg win over Juventus, but the 26-year-old should return to the starting line up on Tuesday.
