Here are Tom Bowlesfootball tips for the first leg of Man Utd and Barcelona's quarter-final on Wednesday...

Barcelona to win and BTTS

Barcelona are always worth backing to win at odds-against, especially as they’ve won eight of their last nine games and United have lost three of their last four. Barca did concede four at Villarreal last week, so it’s also worth backing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to score.

Lionel Messi to score

Because, well, it’s Messi, and he’s scored 10 goals in his last six matches for his club. He’s also scored two in his last two against United – the 2011 and 2009 Champions League finals.

Ashley Young to be booked

Young’s recent poor form culminated with him being sent off at Wolves last week for two mistimed tackles. He has received 13 yellow cards in all competitions this season, including against top-class opposition such as Liverpool, Chelsea (twice), Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Juventus.

Luke Shaw to be booked

Shaw is another booking merchant, with 12 in all competitions for United this season. He is also partial to a tactical foul, and I suspect United might need to commit a few of those on Wednesday night.
