Manchester City to beat Feyenoord –

Feyenoord return to the Champions League for the first time since 2002/03, but their recent European record has been uninspiring.

They failed to make it out of their Europa League group last season, picking up just one point from their final three.

Manchester City have lost just two Champions League matches in nine and represent much better opposition than the Dutch side faced last term.

City should ease to victory.

Liverpool to beat Sevilla –

Liverpool’s impressive record at Anfield makes them worthy favourites in this one.

The Reds have won nine of their last 12 competitive games on home turf, including the impressive 4-2 play-off victory over Hoffenheim.

Sevilla – who are missing Nolito through injury – have lost all three of their Champions League visits to England, most recently to Leicester last season.

Maribor to beat Spartak Moscow –

Given how well they have started the season, Maribor look a steal at this price.

The Slovenian side are unbeaten at home in all competitions, winning five and drawing three.

Spartak are without a win in five away matches this season and are already nine points adrift of top spot in the Russian Premier League.

Porto to beat Besiktas –

Porto’s home form is up there with the best.

The Portuguese side took seven points from their three home games in the group stage last season, while they have lost just one in 24 in all competitions.

They should bag three points against Besiktas, who managed just one win from six in their group last term.

Napoli to beat Shakhtar –

Five games in and Napoli still boast a 100 per cent record in all competitions.

Maurizio Sarri’s side strolled past Nice in qualifying, winning 4-0 on aggregate, and were also unbeaten on the road in last season’s group stage.

Shakhtar have won just two of their last nine Champions League matches and failed to even qualify in 2016/17. Away win.
