Barcelona v Sporting –

A Barcelona goal in this game is beyond any reasonable doubt.

The La Liga leaders have only failed to score twice at the Nou Camp since February 2015, a record that will hold against their opponents, who have kept just one clean sheet on the road in their last eight attempts.

Sporting need to win this game, though, so can’t afford not to attack.

They  should extend their run of at least one goal in every away match this season.

Bayern Munich v PSG –

Bayern Munich have scored at least twice in every single one of their home games this season, and that record will extend against PSG.

The Parisians have kept just one clean sheet in their last five games and conceded in four of their last six on the road against sides far inferior to Bayern.

The visitor’s phenomenal record of 24 goals in five Champions League group games almost guarantees them at least one goal at the other end.

Celtic v Anderlecht –

Only PSG have prevented Celtic from scoring at home since the start of August, and Anderlecht are unlikely to add their name to that list.

The Belgian side have conceded 17 goals in five Champions league matches this season, and 12 in their last five on the road in all competitions.

The visitors scored against Bayern in their last European match, however, and have netted 15 times in their last six league away games, so are good for a goal themselves.

Chelsea v Atletico Madrid –

Chelsea’s run of scoring in six consecutive home games has featured matches against teams on a similar level to Atletico Madrid.

The visitors shipped twice to Antonio Conte’s side when they met in September, and also conceded in their most recent game against Real Sociedad.

Diego Simeone’s side have scored 12 goals in their last four matches – including two against Roma – so should fulfil their side of the bargain.
