Liverpool to win –

Liverpool’s thrilling 5-2 victory in the first leg means it is well worth backing them to prevail as underdogs.

Roma will likely improve, but their visitors have won both away legs in the Champions League knockout stages so far, and will produce a significantly livelier performance than Barcelona managed in this stadium three weeks ago.

Over 2.5 goals –

Roma’s last three home matches have featured at least three goals, including their 3-0 victory over the Spanish champions in the last round.

Liverpool are arguably the best attacking team to visit the Stadio Olimpico this season, having netted 17 goals in their last seven away games.

Five of the Reds’ last six matches on the road have passed this mark, with the exception a low-key 0-0 draw at Everton, when Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino were both rested.

Roberto Firmino to score –

Firmino has as many Champions League goals as Salah this season, yet is available at more than double his teammate’s price.

The Brazilian scored twice in last week’s first leg, and in the away leg of both previous knockout rounds.

Jordan Henderson to be carded

Henderson has been booked in the Champions League play-off, group stage, round of 16, and quarter-final this season.

As one of the most energetic of Jurgen Klopp’s midfielders, he is available at a nice price to add the semi-final to that list.

Over 4.5 cards

There have been at least five cards in Liverpool’s last three Champions League matches, and in three of Roma’s last four.

Referee Damir Skomina has dished out at least five cards in three of his last four European matches, including six in last week’s Europa League semi-final between RB Salzburg and Lazio.
