Here are Tom Bowles' football tips for Man Utd v Paris Saint-Germain.

Man Utd to win

The impact of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (P11 W10 D1) and PSG’s injury problems mean United have a decent chance of winning this game, which is impressive given where they were two months ago.

Old Trafford will be alive for what is the first big knockout match at the stadium for five years, and I fancy Solskjaer’s side to take a lead to Paris for next month’s second leg.

Marcus Rashford to score

Rashford has scored six times since Solskjaer took over and is a player for the big occasion.

He’s scored against every other top-six side during his United career, and netted two crucial goals – against Anderlecht and Celta Vigo – during United's Europa League-winning campaign two seasons ago.

Kylian Mbappe to score

Even with Neymar and Edinson Cavani out, PSG will still field a forward line capable of making chances for Mbappe.

The 20-year-old has 22 goals in all competitions this season, including three in the Champions League, and will trouble a United defence that have conceded in four of their five games under Solskjaer at Old Trafford.

Marco Verratti to be booked

Verratti has been booked seven times in all competitions this season, including two in five Champions League games. Having recently returned from a few weeks out injured, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him carded for a cynical foul on one of United’s high-energy players.
