Leicester v Sevilla - BT Sport 2 (Tuesday, 19.45)

media

Over 2.5 goals –

Leicester are rejuvenated.

They have scored six goals in their last two home games, which – combined with Sevilla’s record of netting 13 times in their last six matches – should deliver over 2.5 goals in this game.

Sevilla over 1.5 goals –

The Foxes, though, are yet to dispel any fears over their defending.

Their Spanish visitors scored twice in the first leg, and their impressive domestic record suggests that they should net over 1.5 goals here.

Leicester to qualify –

This is a longer shot, and possibly clashes with the above tip, but at this value, Leicester’s recent resurgence cannot be ignored.

If they replicate their last two home matches – both 3-1 victories – then they will qualify.

Juventus v Porto - BT Sport 3 (Tuesday, 19.45)

media

Juventus to win –

Juventus are surprisingly good value just to win this game.

Considering they have emerged victorious from their last eight matches at the Juventus Stadium, they should do so again.

Juventus to win to nil –

As an extension to that bet, I expect the hosts to win to nil, too.

Max Allegri’s side have kept clean sheets in seven of their last 13 home matches, and are a good price to repeat the trick.

Paulo Dybala to score and Juventus to win –

Dybala is in fine form.

The Argentine has scored five goals in his last six games, and three in his last three, so should contribute to Juventus’ likely victory here.

Monaco v Manchester City - BT Sport 2 (Wednesday, 19.45)

media

Man City to score over 1.5 –

At such good value, there is good money to be made here.

City have scored over 1.5 goals in nine of their last 11 matches, and can exploit a weak Monaco defence.

Over 1.5 total first half goals –

The first leg of this tie was chaotic, and there is no reason why the second leg shouldn’t be the same.

With Monaco needing to chase the game, and City deadly on the counter-attack, over 1.5 first half goals looks extremely tempting.

Leroy Sane to score and Man City to win –

The German failed to score for the first time in four matches at Middlesbrough, but still played excellently.

If City win this game, he will be at the heart of it.

Atletico Madrid v Bayer Leverkusen - BT Sport 3 (Wednesday, 19.45)

media

Atletico to win (-1) –

Bayer Leverkusen are suffering this season.

They are in the bottom half of the Bundesliga, have won just two of their last eight matches, and could be well beaten here.

Atletico win to nil –

Along similar lines, the Spaniards should win this game without conceding.

They have shipped just one goal at home in Europe this season, and will set up to ensure that Leverkusen have no way back into this tie.

Antoine Griezmann to score and Atletico to win –

Griezmann have scored five goals in five games, and is one of the outstanding players in the competition.

The Frenchman to score as part of a victory for his side is excellent odds-against value.

Manchester United v FK Rostov - BT Sport 2 (Thursday, 20.05)

media

Manchester United to score in both halves –

Manchester United are big favourites to win this game, and should make their superiority felt throughout.

At a good price, the hosts to score in both halves is a strong bet.

Man United to win to nil –

Rostov have not been good away from home this season.

They have only won twice on the road, and before a recent 6-0 win at Tom Tomsk, had only scored twice in their last eight away matches.

Zlatan to score and United to win –

Ibrahimovic is suspended from domestic duties for now, so is sure to start here.

Considering that he has scored six goals in his last six games, he is likely to score in victory here.
