Chelsea to beat Southampton –

Chelsea eased to a 3-1 victory over Huddersfield last time out and have now won seven of their last nine league games.

Antonio Conte’s side are also on a four-match winning streak at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.

Southampton were thrashed 4-1 at home to Leicester on Wednesday and have lost four of their last seven.

Brentford to beat Barnsley –

Barnsley lost 3-0 at home to Derby last weekend and are dropping like a stone.

That was the Tykes’ fifth consecutive defeat, leaving them just four points and one place above the relegation zone.

Brentford lost away to Hull last time out, but have beaten Leeds and Fulham in a six-match unbeaten run at Griffin Park.

Bolton to beat Burton –

If Bolton manage to stay up this season, then they will have their home form to thank.

Phil Parkinson’s side beat Barnsley 3-1 in their last match at the Macron Stadium and are unbeaten in their last five at home.

Bottom-of-the-league Burton are in dire straits, having lost three on the spin and 10 of their last 14 in all competitions.

Bristol City to beat Nottingham Forest –

Bristol City won 2-1 away at fellow play-off contenders Sheffield United last weekend, lifting them to third in the table.

That was the Robins’ third league victory on the spin and seventh in nine in all competitions.

Nottingham Forest won 3-2 at home to Bolton last Saturday, but have lost six of their last seven on the road.

Wigan to beat AFC Wimbledon –

Table-toppers Wigan beat Fleetwood last weekend to extend their lead over second to four points.

The Latics have now won eight of their last 11 in League One and are the best team in the division by some distance.

Wimbledon lost at home to Walsall in their last league outing and the strugglers have now managed just one victory in six.
