Leicester to beat Stoke – 

Leicester looked like their old selves as Claude Puel’s first game in charge ended in a 2-0 win over Everton

That was the Foxes’ third successive victory in all competitions and fifth without defeat.

Stoke stole a win on at Watford last weekend, but they have still lost five out of seven in all competitions.

Derby to beat Reading –

Derby came from behind to beat Leeds at Elland Road in midweek to record their fourth consecutive victory, which lifted them up to sixth in the table.

The Rams have won four of their last five matches at Pride Park and top the Championship form table.

Reading claimed three points on Tuesday against Nottingham Forest, but that was only their second win in 10 and they have lost four out of six.

Brentford to beat Leeds –

After a slow start, Brentford’s season has picked up.

The Bees beat strugglers Birmingham on Wednesday to record back-to-back wins for the first time this term and extend their unbeaten run to eight matches.

Leeds surrendered a one-goal lead to lose 2-1 to Derby in midweek and have now lost six of their last seven in all competitions.

Blackburn to beat Barnet –

Blackburn were twice pegged back by play-off chasing Fleetwood midweek as they drew 2-2 at home.

That was Rovers’ fifth league game without defeat at Ewood Park for Rovers, while they have also won six of their last seven cup ties against lower-league opposition.

Barnet were given a pasting at Accrington last weekend as they lost 4-1 and they are now without a win in 11.

Bradford to beat Chesterfield –

Bradford nicked a 1-0 win away at Portsmouth last weekend to earn their fourth victory in seven.

The Bantams have also already beaten Chesterfield 4-2 in their opening EFL Trophy match back in August.

Jack Lester’s side are bottom of League Two and have lost 10 of their last 15 in all competitions, winning just twice.
