Chelsea to beat Stoke – 

Chelsea’s opening-day defeat to Burnley is a distant memory.

The Blues beat Nottingham Forest 5-1 on Wednesday in the EFL Cup to record their fifth win in six, while they are just three points off the top of the Premier League.

Stoke were beaten by Bristol City in midweek and have now lost back-to-back matches.

Brentford to beat Bolton –

Brentford’s barren run has to come to an end at some point and this match is the perfect opportunity.

The Bees have registered more shots than any team in the Championship and kept credible clean sheets against Wolves and Aston Villa in two of their last four matches.

Bolton have lost five on the spin without scoring a single goal for the first time in their history and have managed just two points so far this season.

Charlton to beat Bury –

Bury’s season is going from bad to worse.

They are without a win since the opening day and, having picked up just five points in eight games, have dropped to 22nd in the table.

Charlton should have more than enough to record their fourth home win out of five, despite their defeat at relegation-threatened Gillingham last time out.

Rotherham to beat Oldham – 

Rotherham are bang in form at the New York Stadium.

The Millers have won four league games out of five, including a 5-1 reversal of Walsall in their last match at home.

Oldham have accrued just two points in League One and are bottom of the table with six defeats from eight.

Accrington to beat Cheltenham – 

Accrington beat Middlesbrough U21s in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek to keep their impressive run going.

That was the fourth win in five for John Coleman’s side, who have taken nine points from a possible 12 at the Wham Stadium.

Cheltenham have picked up just one point from their four away games so far and gone three without scoring.
