Here are Adam Drury's football tips for Republic of Ireland v Georgia.

Republic of Ireland to win 1-0 or 2-0

Republic of Ireland’s last five matches have finished 0-0, 0-1, 0-0, 0-0 and 0-1, so it’s not much of a leap to back against goals on Tuesday.

Mick McCarthy’s side could only beat Gibraltar 1-0 on Saturday, with a disjointed attacking performance only partly due to the artificial surface.

Georgia have conceded once or twice in nine of their last 11 away matches, including losing 1-0 in this fixture in October 2016.

David McGoldrick to score

McGoldrick has scored 12 goals for Sheffield United this season, so it is surely a matter of time until he breaks his international duck.

The 31-year-old was one of his side’s better performers in Gibraltar, so is sure to get the nod up front again for this one.

Jaba Kankava to be carded

Kankava has only been carded in one of his last six international appearances, but more should come.

He ranked second for tackles and top for fouls of Georgia players in the Nations League last year.
