Schalke to beat SV Wehen –

Schalke beat Mainz at home on Friday night to record their second consecutive 2-0 win, leaving them in fifth in the Bundesliga.

They have also won each of their last five German Cup ties against lower-league opposition.

Don’t expect a shock in this one.

Valencia to beat Real Zaragoza –

Valencia recorded their fifth successive win on Saturday, thrashing Sevilla 4-0.

They have now scored 10 goals in their last two and remain one of just three unbeaten sides in La Liga.

Zaragoza have only won two of their a six-match unbeaten run, and will struggle against one of the best sides in the division above.

Ingolstadt to beat Greuther Furth –

Greuther Furth lost 3-1 away to Union Berlin at the weekend, dropping to second bottom in the 2. Bundesliga.

That was their fourth defeat in five matches, and they have managed just two wins in 11 this season.

Ingolstadt won 3-0 for the second time in three matches at the weekend and have already beaten Greuther Furth in the league.

Inter Milan to beat Sampdoria –

Inter claimed a respectable 0-0 draw at Napoli at the weekend to bring Serie A’s only remaining 100 per cent start to the season to an end.

That result maintained the Nerazzuri’s unbeaten start to the season, in which they have dropped just four points in nine matches.

Sampdoria beat Crotone 5-0 at home on Sunday, but have won just one in four on the road.

Real Betis to beat Cadiz –

Cadiz’s disappointing campaign rumbled on at the weekend as they were beaten 1-0 by Huesca.

That was their sixth match without a win in a run that has seen them take just three points and slip to 15th in the Segunda table.

Betis have won four out of six, including a 1-0 victory away to Real Madrid last month, and are great value to take a first-leg lead on Tuesday night.
