Here are a few ideas to get you started...

Barcelona to win and both teams to score –

Real Madrid won the Super Cup at the start of the season, but Barcelona have held the upper hand in El Clasico in La Liga after winning five, drawing one and losing just two of their last eight meetings.

They’ve also won their last two league games at the Bernabeu 3-2 and 4-0.

With the Catalan giants still unbeaten in La Liga this season and Real stuttering in fourth, an away win looks the likeliest outcome on Saturday.

It’s safe to assume that Real will get on the scoresheet too, though, given that they’ve bagged 16 in their last five home games and both teams have scored in 12 of the last 13 league matches between these sides.

Luis Suarez to score –

Suarez is on fire at the moment with six goals in his last five La Liga appearances, and he’s got a great record against Real Madrid, scoring four times in the last five league Clasicos.

With Lionel Messi finding the net just twice in the last nine games, the Uruguayan is Barca’s likeliest scorer.

Sergio Ramos to be carded

El Clasico is almost always an ill-tempered affair, with at least six cards shown in the last 19 league meetings between these sides.

Ramos is usually the main culprit, having been booked in seven of the last nine and sent off in three of the last seven.

If things don’t go Real’s way, the Spaniard is likely to lose his head and pick up a card.
