These are two of the lowest-scoring sides in the Bundesliga, and both have struggled in attack since the season resumed.

Schalke have scored just once in their three matches, while Werder Bremen haven’t been much more exciting, mustering two goals during the same period.

Milot Rashica to score

Rashica is Werder Bremen’s top scorer this season with seven league goals and looks their best bet to find the net on Saturday.

The Kosovo international has slowed down after a fantastic start to the campaign but has averaged 2.8 shots per game this term, the most of any Werder Bremen player to have made more than four appearances.

Werder Bremen to have the most cards

Schalke rank 14th in cards in the Bundesliga this season, with 46 yellows and one red so far, while Werder rank eighth with 55 yellows and four dismissals.

None of the hosts’ players have amassed more than four cards this season, while Werder Bremen have five players who have picked up at least five yellows.
