PSV to beat Heerenveen –

PSV’s season has picked up dramatically after failing to qualify for the Europa League.

They have won three out of three in the Eredivisie and have now lost just one of their last 31 in the league.

Heerenveen, meanwhile, drew their opening game at home and are now without a win in three at their own ground.

Utrecht to beat Roda –

Roda have started this season as they ended the last: losing.

The relegation candidates have lost all three of their league games so far, extending their winless run away from home to 14 matches.

They are on to a loser on Sunday, too, given that Utrecht are unbeaten in 10 Eredivisie games at home and have won seven on the spin.

Hertha Berlin to beat Werder Bremen –

Hertha’s record at the Olympiastadion is impressive.

They beat Stuttgart in their season opener and have now won seven league games out of 11 at home.

Expect them to notch an eighth against a Werder side yet to pick up a point in the Bundesliga this term.

Athletic Bilbao to beat Girona –

Athletic Bilbao have made a brilliant start to the new campaign and remain unbeaten after six games in all competitions.

They are also formidable at home, with their only defeat in 27 coming against Real Madrid.

They should have more than enough to beat Girona, who ended last season with three consecutive away defeats.

Marseille to beat Stade Rennes –

Marseille have won three out of four at the Stade Velodrome and have not lost in nine league games at home.

Rennes, meanwhile, are winless after four in Ligue 1 and have won just one away game in 16.

Expect this one to go with form.
