Amiens to win or draw v Lille (16:00) –

Lille’s 2-1 defeat at Monaco prior to the international break was their seventh league game without a victory and left them 19th in Ligue 1.

That sequence is likely to continue this weekend, given Christophe Galtier’s side have the second-worst home record in the division.

Amiens claimed a second successive draw last time out and have lost just one of their last five matches.

Borussia Monchengladbach to win or draw v Mainz (17:00) –

Third-bottom Mainz were beaten 3-0 by Frankfurt last time out to make it back-to-back league defeats.

The hosts have not found the net in three matches and have won just one of their last nine in all competitions.

Monchengladbach have lost just one of their last four, against Champions League-chasing Leverkusen, so should be trusted to earn at least a point.

Eibar to beat Real Sociedad (17:30) –

Eibar’s recent home form of three defeats in six looks unspectacular, but those losses came against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

Jose Luis Mendilibar’s side have beaten Villarreal 1-0 and hammered Sevilla 5-1 in that run, and had previously won four home games in succession.

Real Sociedad have lost seven and drawn two of their last nine games on the road, so this pick looks great value.

Villarreal to beat Malaga (17:30) –

Bottom-of-the-league Malaga drew 0-0 with Celta Vigo last time out to earn their first point in eight league games.

The Boquerones are currently on a 14-match winless run in La Liga, in which they have picked up just three points.

Villarreal beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 before the international break to secure their second victory in as many matches.

Atletico Madrid to win to nil v Deportivo (19:45) –

Atletico Madrid have won 54 and drawn two of their 56 home games against bottom-half sides since Diego Simeone took charge, keeping a clean sheet in 40 of those victories.

Atleti are one of just two teams in La Liga, along with Barcelona, yet to lose at home this season and have won their last seven without conceding at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Second-bottom Deportivo are currently on a 14-match winless run and have picked up just one point in their last 10 away games.
