Adam Drury provides his football tips for Wednesday's action in the Bundesliga.

Christopher Nkunku (RB Leipzig) to score v Hertha Berlin (17:30)

Nkunku has only scored four goals this season but should be poised for a few more in an in-form Leipzig team.

The Frenchman racked up an xG tally of 1.83 despite failing to score against Mainz at the weekend. He ranks fourth for shots per game and second for xG in the Leipzig squad in the Bundesliga this season.

Hertha have conceded 12 goals in five matches against the top four this season.

Florian Niederlechner (Augsburg) to score v Paderborn (19:30)

Niederlechner has scored 11 goals this season, the sixth-most in the Bundesliga.

Though he has gone seven appearances without one, his numbers are still good. He ranks sixth for xG, 10th for shots and eighth for shots inside the box per game.

Paderborn were lucky to only concede once against Hoffenheim on Saturday and have let in at least two goals in nine of their 15 away matches this season.

Mainz to win or draw v Union Berlin & under 4.5 goals (19:30)

It seems like the Bundesliga suspension has knocked the stuffing out of Union Berlin.

Urs Fischer’s side have lost 2-0 and 4-0 to Bayern Munich and Hertha Berlin since restarting, failing to lay a glove on either opponent in attack.

Mainz were hammered 5-0 by Leipzig on Sunday, but this bet had landed in five of their six previous matches.

Hoffenheim to win or draw v Cologne & over 1.5 goals (19:30)

Hoffenheim have had the better of both of their games since the restart, despite failing to win either of them.

They won both the xG and shot count in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Paderborn, so should be backed to at least avoid defeat in this game.

Cologne came from behind to draw 2-2 against Dusseldorf on Sunday, a week after allowing a two-goal lead to slip against Mainz. The same result would do the business here.
