Braga to beat FH –

FH have failed to make it to the group stage of either the Champions League or Europa League in their last 13 attempts.

The Icelandic champions have also made just one play-off round in that period, where they were beaten 7-2 on aggregate by Genk.

Braga, meanwhile, have progressed through three of their last four ties at this stage, so should put themselves in a good position on Thursday.

Viktoria Plzen to beat AEK Larnaca –

Although they were knocked out of the Champions League in an earlier round, Viktoria Plzen are still worth backing.

The Czech club have made it to the group stage of a European competition in six of the last seven seasons.

Given that AEK Larnaca have been beaten in the Europa League qualifiers two seasons running, this looks a safe bet.

Ajax to beat Rosenborg –

At home, Ajax are always worth backing.

After drawing with Nice in the Champions League, Marcel Keizer’s side now boast a 23-game unbeaten run in all competitions at the Amsterdam Arena.

They have also safely made it through each of their last three Europa League play-offs.

So they look a decent shout to give themselves an early lead against Rosenborg, who have been knocked out in the qualifiers on three of the last four occasions.

Everton to beat Hajduk Split –

A win over Stoke at the weekend maintained Everton’s 100 per cent start to the season, having edged past Ruzemberok in the third qualifying round as well.

The Toffees have also won seven of their last eight Europa League games at Goodison Park.

Hajduk, meanwhile, have missed out in qualification for last seven consecutive seasons and are unlikely to get off to a good start in this tie.

Dynamo Kiev to beat Maritimo –

On both of the occasions they have had to qualify for the Europa League, Dynamo Kiev have eased through the play-off round.

They have also won five out of eight in all competitions so far this season.

Against Maritimo, who have made the group stage just once in their last three attempts, they are decent value.
