BATE Borisov v Arsenal –

Arsene Wenger will field a weakened team again on Thursday night, but Arsenal are still good value to get on the scoresheet against a BATE side that have kept no clean sheets in five Europa League games.

The Gunners have scored nine goals in their last five games, and will have plenty of attacking talent available in Belarus, with Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott and perhaps even Mesut Ozil starting.

Don’t expect Arsenal to have it all their own way, though.

The hosts have scored eight goals in th eir last two games, and have registered in every one of their four European games so far this season.

Lyon v Atalanta –

Goals are nailed on when these two BTTS favourites meet at Parc OL.

Lyon have scored 12 goals in just four home games so far this season, and only Nantes and PSG have kept them off the scoresheet in eight games overall.

The French side have also only kept two clean sheets in those 12 matches, and now face an Atalanta side that put three past Everton.

The Italians have scored in 14 successive away games dating back to last season, and have netted 12 in five overall.

RB Salzburg v Marseille –

Salzburg have been reliable scorers at home this season, registering in every one of their eight games at the Red Bull Arena.

The Austrian champions have netted eight in three Europa League games this season, and have also kept just one clean sheet in five in all competitions.

Marseille are a similarly safe bet to score, having done so in each of their last 10 games.

Spurs flop Clinton N’Jie has bagged five in five for l’OM, and he should lead the line again on Thursday night.

Zenit v Real Sociedad –

Zenit have notched nine goals in five Europa League games so far this season, and put five past Vardar last time out.

The Russian side have scored 12 in their last four in all competitions, conceding just two goals in the process.

But don’t expect another clean sheet when they take on Sociedad.

La Real have scored in six of their seven games so far – Real Madrid are the only side to keep them out – and have scored three goals or more in four separate matches.

Nice v Vitesse –

Nice have rediscovered their scoring form from last season, with 12 goals in their last four games, including a 4-0 win over Monaco.

Mario Balotelli has scored six goals already this season, five of which have come in his last four appearances.

Nice have only kept three clean sheets in 12 games this season, and another one is unlikely against Vitesse, who beat Ajax 2-1 in their last match.

The Dutch side have scored in every game so far except from a 0-0 draw away at AVV Swift in the cup, and have also kept just two clean sheets.
