Here are four football tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for the Euro 2020 final between Italy and England at Wembley on Sunday.

England to lift the trophy

England were truly tested for the first time in their semi-final against Denmark, and they responded brilliantly to come back and win in extra-time.

Italy have been the most exciting attacking side at Euro 2020, but they have been pushed to extra-time twice and have shown defensive vulnerability in conceding three goals in the knockout stages.

Add in the Wembley factor and it’s worth backing England to lift the trophy on Sunday.

Draw at half-time

Both semi-finals were level at half-time, with Italy going into the break goalless against Spain and England equalising after Denmark’s opener.

Four of the last six European Championship finals have been level at the break, and this is likely to follow suit as a cagey affair.

Harry Kane to score anytime

After a slow start to the tournament, Kane has scored four goals in the knockout stages to help England to their first major men’s final since 1966.

He will be England’s main goalscoring threat again on Sunday.

Harry Maguire to be carded

Maguire has seen yellow in two of three knockout matches, and is the only England player with multiple bookings at Euro 2020.

With the dynamic attacking talent that Italy possess, he looks a prime candidate for another in the final.
