Here are four football tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for the third-round match between Marine and Tottenham on Sunday. 

Under 5.5 goals

Tottenham should find the net a few times against their non-league opponents, but are unlikely to be at their very best on Merseyside.

Spurs have lacked fluidity this season when Jose Mourinho has made wholesale changes, and a slightly disjointed performance is likely on Sunday.

Tottenham to win the first half

Spurs have got out of the blocks quickly all season, scoring 18 first-half goals in the Premier League – more than any other side.

They have led at half-time in their last four matches, and should head into the break ahead against Marine.

Carlos Vinicius to score

Vinicius has found quality minutes hard to come by so far at Spurs, with his starts being limited to the Europa League.

He should lead the line for Spurs on Sunday, though, and looks a great bet to add to his three goals in Tottenham colours.

Dele Alli to score

Alli is another Spurs player who has struggled for game time this season, but is sure to get a chance from the start against Marine.

He looked lively in his last appearance against Stoke in the EFL Cup two weeks ago, and is likely to be heavily involved in Tottenham’s attacking play.
