Notts County v Oxford City –

media

Oxford City are unlikely to be fazed by a trip to Meadow Lane, having already knocked a League Two side out of the FA Cup away from home.

That 1-0 win at Colchester earlier this month secured their place in the second round for the first time since 1969/70 and only the second time in their history.

And considering Notts County’s recent cup record, the National League South side could be on for another upset.

The Magpies were taken to a replay by non-league Boreham Wood at this stage last season, and were knocked out a round earlier by then-seventh tier Salford City the previous year.

They have also failed to make it past this stage of the competition in four of the last six seasons.

Coventry v Boreham Wood –

media

Coventry have failed to make it past this stage of the FA Cup in each of the last three seasons.

The Sky Blues are also no stranger to an upset, having lost at home to then-National League North side Worcester City in 2014/15

So a tie against Boreham Wood at the Ricoh Arena isn’t a free pass.

The National League side are on a 12-match unbeaten run in all competitions and have already knocked out League One Blackpool.

Mansfield v Guiseley –

Simply by making it to this stage, Guiseley have already achieved the best ever FA Cup run in their history.

The Lions took League Two promotion contenders Accrington to a replay in the first round before beating them on penalties away from home.

Mansfield beat seventh-tier Shaw Lane in the previous round, but it was far from comfortable with the score remaining 1-1 until the 73rd minute.

The Stags have also managed just one league victory in four at Field Mill, so don’t rule out a shock.

Woking v Peterborough –

Woking created one of the stories of the first round as they thrashed League One Bury 3-0 in a replay at Gigg Lane.

That was the Cards’ biggest ever winning margin over a Football League side, and it should give them hope against another third-tier team.

Peterborough have already shown they are vulnerable against non-league sides, having been taken to a replay by Tranmere in round one.

Given that Woking have lost just two of their 13 home games in all competitions this season, they look a decent price to avoid defeat on Sunday.

Slough Town v Rochdale –

media

Slough have won 19 of their 25 matches in all competitions this season, scoring four or more on nine separate occasions and losing just twice.

Such an impressive run has been helped by an almost flawless home record, in which the seventh tier side have won eight consecutive matches.

They are also no strangers to beating teams from higher divisions, having hammered sixth-tier Gainsborough 6-0 away in the first round.

Rochdale are 19th in League One, sitting above the relegation zone on goal difference only.

Keith Hill’s side have managed just one away victory in 11, so this one looks perfectly poised for an upset.
