Lazio v AC Milan –

Goals are guaranteed in what is arguably the European game of the weekend.

Lazio drew 0-0 with SPAL in their opening home game this season, but they put three past Juventus in the Supercoppa and two past Chievo last time out.

Serie A’s fifth-highest scorers from last season should find the net against Milan, who they drew with 1-1 in this fixture last season.

The Rossoneri have netted in every game in all competitions this season, including five in two in the league, so they should also manage to get on the scoresheet.

Deportivo v Real Sociedad –

Deportivo failed to score in their first home game of the season, but that was against Real Madrid and they were a much better side on their own ground than away last term.

The hosts’ attack could be bolstered on Sunday by the return of Lucas Perez, who scored 17 league goals for Deportivo in 2015/16 and has now rejoined from Arsenal.

Table-toppers Sociedad, meanwhile, have started the season in prolific form with six goals in two games.

La Liga’s fifth-highest scorers from last season also let in more goals than any other side in the top half last term, so they are good value for another high-scoring game on Sunday.

Heerenveen v PSV Eindhoven –

Both teams have scored in all three of Heerenveen’s games this season, and that should continue against PSV.

Jurgen Streppel’s side have bagged six goals so far, and put three goals past PSV the last time these sides met.

They also conceded four in that game, however, and have little chance of keeping out the Eredivisie’s highest scorers so far.

PSV have netted nine times in just three games and were Holland’s third-highest scorers last season, so Heerenveen’s chances of keeping their first clean sheet of the campaign look bleak.

Marseille v Rennes –

Marseille have found the net in seven of their eight matches in all competitions this season, even managing to please BTTS backers in a 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Monaco last time out.

L’OM have kept two clean sheets in the league so far, but look unlikely to do so again on Sunday against a Rennes side that are good going forward.

Christian Gourcuff’s side have scored in all four of their matches this season, and are also yet to keep a clean sheet with eight goals conceded.
