Chelsea v Everton –

Chelsea are the only side in the Premier League to have both scored and conceded in each of their first two games this season.

Antonio Conte’s side have only kept one clean sheet in their last nine home league games, and they’ve found the net in 26 of their last 27 overall.

Everton drew 1-1 at Hajduk Split last time out, their eighth consecutive game in all competitions with a goal.

With Wayne Rooney in form and Gylfi Sigurdsson in the side, they should score again this weekend, although it’s hard to see them keeping the champions out.

Liverpool v Arsenal –

This is the banker of the week.

Liverpool won this fixture 4-3 on the opening day of last season, and will surely find the net again this weekend after bagging four goals across their first two games so far.

They face an Arsenal defence that conceded three to Leicester and one to Stoke, and that kept just four clean sheets away from home last season.

However, given that only Spurs, Crystal Palace and Leicester were able to keep the Gunners out on their travels last term, they should also be expected to get on the scoresheet.

Napoli v Atalanta –

Napoli have started the season in electric form, with three wins and seven goals in three games so far.

Last season’s highest scorers remain the hardest side to keep out, although they are still leaky at the back, having allowed Verona to nick a goal last week.

Atalanta didn’t manage to get on the scoresheet against Roma last week, but they were one of Italy’s most reliable BTTS sides last term and are worth backing to find their groove going forward.

They scored in 11 consecutive games to close out last season, so it’s fair to expect them to breach Napoli’s defence.

Monaco v Marseille –

Monaco might have lost some key members of their title-winning squad, but they’re still one of the best attacking sides in Europe.

Leonardo Jardim’s scored more goals than anyone in the top five European leagues last season, and have already scored nine times in four games this term.

They did concede against Toulouse and Dijon, however, and will likely do so again against better opposition in Marseille.

L’OM have scored in all but one of their six games in all competitions this season – away at Oostende – and were the league's fifth-highest scorers last term.

Braga v Porto –

Porto look formidable at the moment.

They’ve bagged eight times in their first three league games, and are yet to concede a goal.

That should change against Braga, who have netted in all seven of their matches in all competitions, including nine in their last four.

Abel Ferreira’s side have also only kept one clean sheet in seven, so it’s safe to assume they will concede as well.
