Leicester v Man City –

Leicester have scored nine goals in three EFL Cup games this season, and are a good bet to extend that run.

Claude Puel’s side, who have scored 11 in their last six in all competitions, were unlucky not to score in November’s league game between these sides and are perfectly set up to exploit a second-string City defence.

The prolific visitors haven’t failed to score in an away game all season.

Carlisle v Gillingham –

The most basic analysis does this pick justice.

Carlisle have scored in their last seven home matches, while Gillingham have netted in each of their last six on the road.

A repeat of the two sides’ 1-1 draw on 2 December would do us just fine.

Napoli v Udinese –

Udinese have scored in all of their away matches this season, so should have enough to do so at Napoli.

Massimo Oddo’s side scored three at Inter on Saturday, and have also netted at Milan, Roma and Fiorentina this term.

Napoli recovered from a dodgy patch of form with a 3-1 win over Torino at the weekend, and are a sure bet to score again.

Mainz v Stuttgart –

Both teams have scored in seven of Mainz’s last nine matches, and that sequence will extend here.

The Bundesliga strugglers have scored and conceded in both of their cup matches so far, against second and fourth-tier sides.

Stuttgart have been involved in two BTTS matches against teams from the same divisions to reach this stage, so should do their bit.
