Manchester United to beat Chelsea -
There’s not much between these sides, but it makes sense to back United at an attractive price.
Jose Mourinho’s side have won five successive big-six encounters, a sequence which started with the 2-1 win over Chelsea in February.
Mourinho, meanwhile, has won 12 of the 14 cup finals he has managed since 2003. Antonio Conte, in contrast, has never been successful in a cup competition.
Getafe to beat Malaga –
Malaga lost their 13th league game in 16 last weekend as they were beaten 4-1 by Espanyol.
Getafe have won four of their last six, with their only defeat in that sequence coming against Atletico Madrid, and can take another three points against their already-relegated hosts.
Real Madrid or draw and BTTS against Villarreal –
Real Madrid have only lost one of their last 11 league games, but have kept just two clean sheets in the meantime.
That pattern should continue away to Villarreal, whose last seven games have seen an average of over four goals with both teams scoring in six of them.
Toulouse v Guingamp BTTS –
Toulouse’s last three matches have finished 2-1, 2-3 and 4-2, while Guingamp have scored and conceded in their last five.
The hosts must win to have a chance of staying up, so this should be an open game.
PSG to beat Caen –
Caen need a draw to guarantee safety in Ligue 1 on Saturday, but there’s one problem: they aren’t very good.
Patrice Garande’s side have lost eight of their last 10 matches and have twice been beaten 3-1 by PSG already this season, so it’s hard to see them avoiding defeat against the champions at the third attempt.
