WILL ROOK

Cardiff, Derby and Wigan all to win: £10 at 2/1*

My lead has got far too close for comfort, so I’ve simplified this time around in a bid to hold the baying mob at arm’s length.

Three sides chasing promotion from the Championship and League One at home to three relegation candidates.

What could go wrong?

Girona, Manchester City, Bayern and Barcelona to win: £10 at 4/1*

This four-fold, featuring three big favourites and a handy Spanish home side, should bring me enough profit to pull ahead of Rooksy and into the lead.

Girona have won six on the bounce on their own patch without conceding a goal, and will surely beat a Levante side that have lost five of seven away from home.

City are worth backing to win at pretty much any price, especially against Everton.

Bayern and Barcelona have tricky games this weekend but I fancy them to beat Dortmund and Sevilla respectively, and both represent decent value.

ADAM DRURY

Liverpool, Lazio (-1), Manchester United and Manchester City all to win: £10 at 14/5*

Three of the Premier League's top four have matches that they should win, and are worth backing despite the short prices.

Liverpool are in exceptional form and have won their last two games at Crystal Palace, Man United have won their last four league matches at Old Trafford, while Man City basically beat everyone.

Lazio are the envy of every other Serie A team this weekend as they get to face Benevento at home, and should win by more than one goal.

TOM BOWLES

Burnley to beat West Brom and Newcastle to beat Huddersfield: £10 at 9/2*

Burnley won 3-0 at West Ham before the international break. They should make it back-to-back away victories against West Brom, who have lost their last seven successive Premier League matches.

Newcastle have beaten Manchester United and Southampton in their last two outings at St James’ Park. I fancy them to make it three home wins on the spin when they take on Huddersfield, who have lost three of their last five matches on the road.

TOM CLEE

QPR, Accrington and Wycombe all to win or draw and BTTS: £10 at 16/1*

QPR have taken four impressive points from their last two away games with a 3-1 victory against Aston Villa and 2-2 draw with Fulham.

That ought to continue in the same vein against Reading, who are winless in nine, with both teams scoring in seven of those matches.

The same goes for Accrington and Wycombe, who should both pick up at least a point in what are likely to be a couple of high-scoring games.

Stanley have won 10 of their last 12 and are away to Mansfield, who are winless in five but have only once failed to score at home since 12 September.

The Chairboys have lost just two of their last 14, with both teams scoring in 10. They travel to Notts County, who have only won two of their last seven with goals at both ends in all of the last four.
