Hertha Berlin v RB Leipzig and Utrecht v Heerenveen BTTS, Bayern Munich (-1) to beat Stuttgart: £10 at 3/1*
Both teams have scored in five of Leipzig’s last six matches, and in Hertha Berlin’s last two home games. The visitors must win to have a chance of Champions League qualification so there should be goals.
The first leg of Utrecht and Heerenveen’s Europa League play-off finished 4-3 on Wednesday, while Bayern have won their last four home league games by at least three goals.
Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Spurs and West Ham to win: £10 at 12/1*
No point playing it safe this week, what with me being deep in the red. Here we go.
Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Spurs to beat Brighton, Watford, Southampton and Leicester doesn’t require an explanation.
Crystal Palace should overcome West Brom, despite the visitors’ fine form under Darren Moore. Palace have won three of their last four Premier League games, and under Roy Hodgson have only been beaten at Selhurst Park by Arsenal, Spurs, United and Liverpool.
West Ham have beaten Leicester and drawn with United in the last week, keeping clean sheets in both. I fancy them to overcome Everton, who were lucky to nab a point off Southampton last weekend.
Lincoln, Coventry, Manchester United and Manchester City to win: £10 at 13/2*
Both Lincoln and Coventry have been strong at home this season and I fancy them to get their play-off campaigns off to the best possible start against Exeter and Notts County respectively.
Watford have been woeful away from home this season, picking up just one point in their last 11 on the road, so I can’t see anything other than a home win for Manchester United.
City, meanwhile, should top 100 points with a flourish against a Southampton side that only needs to avoid a cricket score to assure their survival.
Schalke, Lyon and Tottenham to win: £10 at 4/1*
Schalke have won four and drawn one of their last five Bundesliga home games, and shouldn’t have any trouble beating a Frankfurt side that have lost six in a row away from home.
Lyon have won their last seven games by an aggregate score of 23-4, and now play a Strasbourg side that are winless in 11 dating back to the start of February.
Only Chelsea and Manchester City have beaten Spurs at Wembley in the Premier League this season, and Mauricio Pochettino’s side should finish the campaign with a win over Leicester, who have lost four of their last six.
Manchester City and Liverpool to win and over 3.5 goals, Manchester United and Chelsea to win and under 3.5 goals: £10 at 33/1*
It’s Hail Mary time for me.
Chasing 100 points and looking to secure a top-four spot before being waved off for their Champions League final, I fancy Manchester City and Liverpool to both win well on Sunday.
Both are capable of scoring four on their own, but should either Southampton or Brighton score a consolation goal then over 3.5 looks an absolute guarantee.
Manchester United and Chelsea also look like solid shouts to win, albeit in slightly cagier games.
Watford haven’t scored in eight away from home and United have hardly cut loose of late, while Newcastle have lost their last four in a row by a single goal.
It’s a long shot, clearly, but it all makes sense.
