Atletico Madrid to beat Real Sociedad (18:30) –

Atletico’s run of three away games without a victory looks bad until you realise that they’ve played both Real Madrid and Barcelona during that sequence.

La Liga’s second-placed side have won nine of their last 12 league games and have to be backed for the three points at this price.

Sociedad have won back-to-back matches, but have lost five out of five against Spain’s current top four.

Burnley to win or draw v Chelsea (19:45) –

Burnley’s 2-1 win over Leicester last weekend was their fifth consecutive league victory, lifting them to within two points of sixth-placed Arsenal.

The Clarets beat Chelsea 3-2 at Stamford Bridge on the opening day of the season and are great value to earn at least a point on Thursday.

Chelsea have won just three of their last nine league games, while their comeback victory against Southampton last weekend was their first away win in seven.

Leicester to beat Southampton (19:45) –

Southampton surrendered a two-goal lead inside eight minutes to lose against Chelsea last weekend.

That was the Saints’ fourth consecutive league defeat, meaning they’ve now won just one of their last 20 Premier League matches.

Leicester have lost just one of their last seven league games at the King Power, and it shouldn’t take much for them to nick a win here.

Blackburn to beat Peterborough (19:45) –

After back-to-back draws on the road, Blackburn should return to winning ways at Ewood Park.

Tony Mowbray’s side have the second-best home record in League One and are unbeaten in their last 18 league games at their own ground.

Peterborough have lost back-to-back matches and have beaten only third-bottom Northampton in their last six.

Real Betis to beat Las Palmas (20:30) –

Betis extended their winning streak to five league games with a 1-0 victory over Girona last time out, winning each of their last four to nil.

Quique Setien’s side have also won four of their last seven at home, with their only defeats in that run coming against Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Second-bottom Las Palmas have picked up just one point in their last six league games and are without an away win in 12.
